Volunteer
The Tibetan Nuns Project (TNP) relies heavily on volunteers around the world. The following is a listing of the most immediate volunteer needs, but let us know if you have a particular skill to contribute.
Seattle, WA Office
Our USA office is located in the heart of historic Pioneer Square. We are always looking for volunteers. Tasks can include product preparation, inventory, mailings, database entry and artwork. If you don’t live in the Seattle area, but are in town on business, this is a great opportunity to meet us. Please call 206-652-8901 or email info@tnp.org for directions. Local Outreach
Calendar distribution: TNP produces and distributes a yearly wall calendar. The majority of our sales rely on individual distributors to friends, local bookstores, and dharma centers.
Event Outreach
Provide TNP literature at events in your area that attract people who would be interested in TNP. We provide you with all necessary materials.
Technology
Any experience in database architecture, networking, and website management is greatly needed. We use Filemaker Pro 8.5 relational database.
Experience or Skills
Legal Advisor: Work with the Development Officer to establish a "Charitable Gifts and Estate Planning" packet for donors. Provide legal advice for other policy questions.
Endowment Development:
Creating an endowment fund for Dolma Ling to ensure future self-sufficiency. Any experience with institutional endowment foundations would be helpful.
